Medical, Dental and Vision
Medical coverage is available for all full-time associates through Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan. Dental coverage is offered by Delta Dental of Michigan and vision coverage is available through a Vision Service Plan (VSP). Associates have 30 days to elect their benefits with coverage effective on their hire date.

401(k) Retirement Plan
The importance of saving for retirement or the financial future you choose cannot be understated, and Jackson's comprehensive 401(k) plan offered through Fidelity Investments provides a great way for our associates to meet their future financial goals. In addition to dollar-for-dollar matching contributions (up to 6% of your salary), Jackson offers discretionary, non-matching contributions based on our financial results.
Full-time associates, part-time associates and interns can begin contributing to the 401(k) plan upon receipt of their first paycheck (and enrollment in the plan). Associates can contribute a portion of their annual salary on a pre-tax and/or Roth after-tax basis to a wide selection of investment options covering a variety of risk and return profiles.
Holiday Schedule and Paid Time Off
Jackson observes 10 holidays. Our generous paid time off plan allows associates to request time for vacation, sickness, and many other directions life may take them. Full-time associates are eligible to use their paid time off immediately and will accrue more time off year after year.
Jackson provides full-time associates group term life insurance generally equal to twice your annual salary at no cost. We maintain this coverage even if you are unable to work while on a leave of absence.
Paid Parental Leave
Jackson will provide up to two weeks of paid parental leave to full-time associates for the purposes of bonding following the birth of a child or the placement of a child with an associate in connection with adoption or foster care.
The two-week paid parental leave program is in addition to Jackson’s Pregnancy-and Birth-Related Supplemental Short-Term Disability program. An associate who has experienced the birth of a child will receive 100% of their regular base salary for the period of the approved disability.
Paid Time Off to Volunteer
It can be hard to volunteer when you have a full-time job. That's why we offer paid time off for all our associates who get involved with a charitable organization they are passionate about. We appreciate the time and effort our associates put into giving back to their communities and do everything we can to support their volunteering activities.
Associate Gift Matching
To help associates make a greater impact on causes that are important to them, Jackson provides a two-to-one match for associate donations to nonprofits on the company's match list.
Associate and Dependent Tuition Reimbursement Programs
Our associates' commitment to hard work is matched only by their dedication to bettering themselves through education. Jackson offers employee and dependent tuition reimbursement to full-time associates.
Adoption Assistance Program
At Jackson, taking care of you and your family is always a top priority. We provide reimbursement to full-time associates for qualifying expenses for domestic and foreign adoptions up to $5,000 per adoption.
Education Matching Gift Program
Jackson will match eligible associates' monetary gifts to accredited nonprofit, private, or public graduate and undergraduate colleges and universities.
