At Jackson, we believe we have a responsibility to minimize our environmental impact by choosing sustainable business practices whenever possible, including:
Jackson's Electronic Delivery program saves hundreds of thousands of paper prospectuses from the landfill each year.
Jackson offers associates discounts on public transportation, reducing emissions from commuters.
Jackson's office in Nashville, Tennessee is LEED certified, offering innovations in green design, construction, operations and maintenance solutions. The new expansion to our Lansing, Michigan campus features a living roof, which will reduce energy consumption for the building and help filter pollutants from the atmosphere.
In 2008, Jackson joined the Climate Leaders Program, an Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) industry-government partnership that helps companies develop strategies to reduce their environmental impact. Partner companies conduct a corporate-wide inventory of their greenhouse gas emissions and set aggressive reduction goals prior to reporting their progress to the EPA annually.
