Medical and Dental Plans
Medical coverage is available for all full-time employees through Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, with dental coverage offered by Delta Dental. Eligibility for the chosen plan option (three comprehensive options available) begins the first of the month following 30 days of employment.

Vision Coverage is provided through a competitive Vision Service Plan (VSP). Jackson pays for a core level of coverage that is available to employees and their eligible dependents. A buy-up option is available for those who wish to purchase a higher level of coverage.
401(k) Retirement Plan
The importance of saving for retirement or the financial future you choose cannot be understated, and Jackson's comprehensive 401(k) plan offered through Fidelity Investments provides a great way to get started. In addition to dollar-for-dollar matching contributions (up to 6 percent of your salary), Jackson offers discretionary, non-matching contributions based on our financial results.
Full-time employees, part-time employees and interns can begin contributing to the 401(k) plan upon receipt of their first paycheck (and enrollment in the plan). Employees can contribute a portion of their annual salary on a pre-tax and/or Roth after-tax basis to a wide selection of investment options covering a variety of risk and return profiles.
Holiday Schedule and Paid Time Off
Jackson observes nine holidays and offers up to two floating holidays (based on hire date and status) to use at your discretion. Our generous personal time off plan allows employees to request time for vacation, sickness and the many other directions life may take them. Full-time employees are eligible to use their personal time off immediately and will accrue more time off year after year.
Jackson provides employees group term life insurance generally equal to twice your annual salary at no cost! We maintain this coverage even if you are unable to work while on a leave of absence.
Paid Time Off To Volunteer
It can be hard to volunteer when you have a full-time job. That's why we offer paid time off for all of our employees who get involved with a charitable organization they are passionate about. We appreciate the time and effort our associates put into giving back to their communities and do everything we can to support their volunteering activities.
Employee and Dependent Tuition Reimbursement Programs

Adoption Assistance Program
At Jackson, taking care of you and your family is always a top priority. We provide reimbursement to full-time employees for qualifying expenses for domestic and foreign adoptions up to $5,000 per adoption.
Education Matching Gift Program
Jackson will match eligible associates' monetary gifts to accredited non-profit, private or public graduate and undergraduate college and universities.
