A fixed index annuity combines the security of a guaranteed interest rate with the potential to earn additional interest linked to the return of an index.
Range of Income Options
You choose when the time is right, and select the guaranteed income option that meets your retirement needs, either for life or for a set period of time.
Death Benefit Protection
The Accumulation Value will go to your beneficiaries if you die prior to receiving income payments.
Choosing a Fixed Index Annuity
Jackson offers a variety of fixed index annuities from which to choose. These are the major differences among them:
- Variety of choices as to how and when index-linked interest is measured and credited to your account
- Product variations in minimum interest rate and percentage of premium guarantees
- Early withdrawal charge schedules, time horizons, and free withdrawal provisions vary between products
- Optional income rider, LifePay available for an additional charge, provides income you cannot outlive
What is an Annuity?
An annuity is a long-term, tax-deferred vehicle designed for retirement. Earnings are taxable as ordinary income when distributed and may be subject to a 10% additional tax if withdrawn before age 59 1/2.
